Scratch Mittens

Every baby in the land needs these for the first 3 months of their lives. They are a really cheap little item, but essential. A lot of the big department stores don’t bother to stock this sort of item, probably because they do not make much profit out of them. We have always seen these as essential items and we will always continue to stock them.

We sell them white, cream with a motif on, ( speccially designed for us! ) and pink and blue. They are only suitable from birth to 3 months old.

When your baby is first born they quite often have sharp little fingernails – and you can hardly go cutting and shaping them so scratch mittens is the answer.

Babies keep rubbing their faces for the first few weeks and they frequently scratch themselves because of their sharp nails, so pop on a pair of elasticated at the wrist scratch mitts and you are all set to go. These are made from soft pure cotton but you do get 2 pairs in a packet. Having said that you will probably need a few pairs as for the first few weeks it is nothing but washing everything and feeding and changing baby.
