Old Sayings

A lot of our customers have said recently that the old nursery rhymes are coming back into fashion. We would like to give you an example of this:

 

Mondays child is fair of face

Tuesdays child is full of grace

Wednesdays child is full of woe

Thursdays child has far to go

Fridays child is loving and giving

Saturdays child works hard for a living

The child that is born on the Sabbath is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

Which day of the week were you born, or was your son or daughter born on?

This is just an old saying – but it does seem to be quite accurate if the girls in the office are anything to go by.

They have all been saying when they were born and some reckon it is quite true.
