Babies knitwear is an essential part of their wardrobe. It is a fantastic item that is very suitable for keeping your little one snug and warm all year round. Knitwear is invaluable because you can use it for a layering effect. Put a little jumper or cardigan on and if you think baby is warm enough just slip off the cardy and they will cool down. Job done!. Lots of more up market companies sell cashmere and wool. Although these are beautiful fabrics to wear, when it comes to looking after them washing wise they can be tedious.

We tend to purchase a lot of pure cotton or acrylic. These are far more friendly with regard to washing and looking after. Wash in a cool temperature and just pull to shape and let the item dry, air for a day or two and iron then put back on baby. Far less trouble we think.
