We would like to take a moment out of the day to talk to you about learning. This can be made to be such fun nowadays for your little one. In order to teach them the social skills they are going to need later on in life, you want to get started slowly while they are young. Babies and toddlers are like a sponge. They just absorb everything around them, colours, lights, sounds and shapes. That is why around the six months mark they are perfect for all the fun development toys that are out there now to buy. It is fun at that age trying to put a round peg in a square hole.

Cars or trucks that light up. Most toddlers like to play with bricks. They like to build things. We would urge you to purchase new toys, if you really cannot afford them, and you have to have second hand, then please serilise them before you give them to your little one – as you are no doubt well aware everything for the first few months go straight into their little mouths as they suck and chew on stuff.

Make sure everything is clean before they try to eat it. If you have any pets, please keep them away from your babies toys.

You will be spoilt for choice when looking for toys for your little one. There are so many brands nowadays and places like Toys R Us to go to and you can nearly always get a reasonable price for them.

You will find that after you have put down baby for the evening you will also get a lot of fun playing with the new toys as they arrive in the different stages of learning.
