About Ourselves

We have this month added quite a lot of new styles in many of our categories for you. We like to keep topping up our basics as we find that so many of you like these. This month alone we have added Gift Sets, Socks, Bootees, Hats, Bibs, Sleepsuits and a completely new category of Wicker Baskets and Boxes so you can make up your own gifts as we totally understand that after Christmas and the January sales your cards are all tapped out and so is your wallet. So making up your own gifts is not such a bad idea., ( if you have the inclination! ).

We hope that you like the sort of styles that we have on offer for you today – and keep a look out because this year we have lots of plans afoot for many new categories and changes.

We cannot afford to get complacent round here, so you will find that quire often new stock gets added so keep popping back, put us on your favourites that way you can come and visit us anytime you like!

Babies Sleepsuits

We are just adding a whole new range of babies sleepsuits to the shop, some of these are made of pure cotton and the rest are made of a really more luxury fabric which is velour. This is perfect for the time being as it is colder at the moment, these are soft and warm and wash up a treat being a manmade material.

We have so many styles and colours for you to choose from that it will make your eyes spin. We have even been told we have too many, that was a first!

We love to give you the consumer as much choice as possible – you want the very best for your little nuchkin and so do we. We have nearly every animal on the planet and every colour possible. Orange, Green, Blue, Black, White, Cream, Pink, Blue, Lemon you name it we have it.

Plus we are adding our ever so popular cotton styles now and this season they have an all-over print on so this will help to liven things up rather than just plain.

These are 100% Cotton because No: one some customers just prefer this fabric for their baby and no: 2 some babies skin just can’t get on with anything other than natural fibres. We do our very best round here to try and think of everything that is suitable and relevant for your baby and we hope that you like what we do and are as happy as we are.

In our Gift Section we have just added a truely cost cutting fantastic idea. Why not make up your own baskets or Gift Boxes and save yourself some money, whilst at the same time the thought and care that you take making a Gift for some-one special to you makes it just that bit more personal and pleasurable.

You would be surprised the joy it can give to actually take part in making something that you then pass on to other people – instead of just buying something and not really caring whether it will be of any practical use to them or not.

As finances are on everyone’s minds these days, we thought you might enjoy doing it yourself.. choose exactly what you want to give and make it yourself.

On the other hand if this is not your sort of thing……. and you can be sure not everyone likes to be bothered with this sort of idea then we are more than happy to do it for you -  the choice is yours as they say.

These are a fantastic way of saving money – if that is important to you, and of course you give it your own personal touch!

We love to talk to our customers and keep you informed about the ongoing changes and developments that are going on around here. We are having quite a lot of meetings at the moment about the sort of changes that we want to implement.

We are considering changing the sort of cloting that we currently offer to you and also to include babies equipment and a whole host of other items.

One of the main reasons for this blog, which we hope that you take the time to read is that we are asking for volunteers ( yes ladies we need your help…) we require a small select group of mums or mums to be to just answer a few open ended questions for us so we can get a guide line on which direction we want to take things next.

Of course we would be more than happy to offer some recompence to any lady that volunteered – as you would be giving up your time which we totally understand is very valuable.
