Babies Nutrition

At this time of year there is so much illness about that you cannot afford to take any chances with your little on’e health. Give them the very best balanced diet that your money allows. Make sure they get plenty of fruit and veg and give them some fresh air everyday if you possibly can.

Take them to the Doctors regularly to get their booster jabs and if they do fall unwell make sure they get looked at by a GP and give them any medicine regularly.

Although this seems like complete waffle you would be surprised how many young parents today don’t really know what to do and how to look after their little one. Although it is not rocket science – some new mums and dads are so young and have no experience in such matters that they don’t know the obvious.

With finances as tight as they are most people are making cut backs – but you and your babies health should not be one of them.

You should make sure that you too eat properly and get enough rest – this is a busy time of year for most people and with all the virus’s about at the moment it is very easy to get run down – just doing your normal daily routine and trying to look after baby. So remember – take care of yourself and your little one.

These are one of our most popular line items. We seem to sell thousands of these in the year. Most orders that we receive are for basics for babies and they nearly always contain socks for the little centipedes out there. Babies Knitwear

Babies knitwear is coming into it’s own right now. As the nights get longer and the daytime darker, shorter and colder we are all turning to our winter woolies and jumpers and it is the same for your little one too. You should invest in a bit of knitwear – a jumper or two for your baby and some woolies. These are fabulous as a layering effect. First thing in the morning when it is at it’s coldest they are nice and toasty warm. Then if we are lucky and the sun pops his head out for awhile you may be able to take it off, and then again in the evening back on it comes again.

There are so many knitwear items available to you mostly made from wool at this time of the year but other fabrics as well. You will be spoilt for choice.

We have some great chunky knitwear this season with the very fashionable toggles that are making quite a comeback. All our knitwear for babies is machine washable as we like to be people friendly and make sure you have as much time as possible with your loved one’s and as least time with the washing and ironing ( who love’s doing those tasks, we certainly don’t here! )
