Babies Hats

We have a really bright and colourful range of knitted babies hats with matching mittens for the Autumn/Winter coming soon. We thought you might appreciate trying to brighten up the drab winter months with a splash of colour. On top of that we are all feeling glum at the moment. This has been a really terrible year for all of us, and we all need something to cheer us up.

What better way than to try and liven up the depressing long and drab autumn and winter time with some bright items for your babies wardrobe.

Tradionally Winter clothing is dark,drab and depressing and both adults and children alike seem to get lumbered with dark colours making the winter months seem even duller.

Why not liven things up a bit by buying a few purchases with bright flamboyuant colours to them, making everyone feel a little brighter – ( even if it only in their minds.)

All our new styles are made from 100% acrylic and will machine wash easily – no woollen hats here, we try to make life easier for you not harder.

We will also be adding to our normal cotton babic pull-on babies hats giving you a wider choice for the newborns and for the first few months of your little one’s life.

Babies Socks

These come in our basic range as socks for your little one can hardly be described as exciting.However, they are very necessary and every little baby needs loads. We try to find fun, cute, colourful and value for money ones. In your babies lifetime they will wear thousands of the things – going to school for years and years.

You might as well give them fun one’s while you can – there will be plenty of time for plain boring solid colours as they get older.

We always keep a wide and varied selection available for you to choose from as we know every mum and dad are going to need these. You will obviously need quite a few between the one’s in the washing basket, the pair on at the moment and a few spare for when they get those one’s all mucky.

The summer time is when they get themselves probably more mucky than the winter. They can get out and about now. In the garden, on the beach and generally into everything.

In the winter months it is usually too wet and cold to go about outside in just socks so they stay cleaner and give mum a bit of a break.

90% of our socks are sold in a 3 pack on a card. Some packs are even bigger. We have 1 x 7 day pack available at the moment. Or perhaps you just need a small top up so you can buy them singly. The choice is yours….

Shawls

Shawls for babies are very popular at the moment. Due to Christenings in the Summer and Weddings they are the perfect item to wrap your little one up in on a special day. We have a beautiful collection for your to choose from and you can choose to keep it simple or go as fancy as you want – and the best thing is they are all easy care to look after. This is important for mum when she has so much other washing with a baby to do.

A Shawl will not look out of place at an important event – but it will give a light cover to baby if a breeze should come up.

It is a much nicer accessory than a blanket or wrap. Shawls are extremely useful in the spring and summer probably more so than in the winter.

They are light enough in weight but warm enough to give baby a little protection against the wind or cold without being all bundled up.

We always keep a wide and varied selection for you to choose from and our prices are very reasonable as well.

Babies Shawls are one of those hard to find items in the average high street and even in department stores. It seems that the bigger the company or store the less likely you are to find useful and practical things – so we have been told.

We like to keep these sort of things in stock all year round – so you know where to come.

Babies Slippers

These are a completely new line for us. We have never sold these before in 6 years. We have been asked time and time again to sell shoes and slippers for your little one’s, but it was something we took a long time to decide on..

Now we feel the time is right – so we will slowly be expanding our range in the next few months. Shoes on the other hand at this time is not an area we want to go into.

In our opinion babies shoes need to be measured and fitted properly in a shop with the correct width and length – buying off of the web or a catalogue just seems all wrong to us, these need to be purchased in the flesh.

Slippers on the other hand go in age and sizes and don’t need to be measured or fitted in the same way – so we have decided to go down that route.

This is how we decide things around here – we wait for enough people to ask us to stock something and then we think about it, hunt around what is available on the market and then buy.

We do not like to alter a good arrangement. We know and understand all the areas that we sell in – and when we decide to enter into something completely different we are out of our depth, so this makes us feel very uncomfortable and we want what is best for your baby so we take a long time to decide and if you are really lucky then we will go ahead.

Our slippers have those rubber soles that grip the carpet or flooring so baby can’t fall over. ( At least that is the theory.)
