Monogramming
If you a expecting a baby or perhaps a family member is, maybe a friend from work, it really makes a difference to personalise any gift that you choose to give. People think you need to go to Jewellers and spend a fortune, but we have found quite a lot of our customers see how lovely is it to have a blanket for the cot or pram, or perhaps a comfort blanket or even an item of actual clothing, maybe a Gift Set – the choice is pretty endless really and have the name of the baby and the day it was born monogrammed on.
If you look at say a blanket without your babies name on it, then look at one with you would instantly see what we mean. It really gives it the personal touch ( without breaking the bank ). Normally it is just a few pounds for this service, and you can choose anything you like and in type of stitching and in any colour.
Suddenly that blanket is something that will stay with that child for years, and the person who gave it to them will be remembered forever – it makes a really cherished gift – something a little bit out of the ordinary.
This service has proved quite successful since we started it, and we have never had one single problem or complaint!
Why not give it a go next time you need something for a relative’s baby… it really makes all the difference. We promise….

Bibs
Today we would like to talk to you about bibs for meal times. Not the most interesting item for your baby you will ever purchase, but they certainly can brighten up meal times. We have some really cute bibs, or perhaps you prefer one with a slogan on that makes you smile, or maybe our very lastest musical bib will make you roar out loud. When we saw it for the first time we just couldn’t resist either. Push the ladybug or doggys nose and it makes a lovely noise, if that doesn’t brighten up meal times we don’t know what will.
We go all out here to try and find the most unusual items – things that are a bit different from the normal in the high street. That is one of our aims…
The staff here play with quite a few new bits and bobs when they come in – it makes our job just that bit more rewarding, a nice environment to come to work in, playing with cute baby items.
Sometimes the staff buy them and they don’t even get to go on the web-site! We had the other day, we only ordered a few of an item just to try and everyone here loved them so much they all knew of people who had a baby and it would have made such a lovely present we didn’t get a chance to give them to you the customer. That has to be a first for us.
We have bibs in neutral colourings from cream, to white, lemon, pink. blue, green, red, purple, orange and many more besides. We hope there is something for everyone.

Summer Rompers
Well it is now turning to the end of the Summer once again. Soon there will be a nip in the air and the leaves will start falling signalling the return of Autumn.
At the moment though we are basking in 26degrees heat and the sun has his hat on. This is the perfect weather to put your little one in a Summer Romper. The advangages of this item are very simple. Tradionally they are made from cotton, which is beathable and light and airy, they are a single piece of material from head to toe which makes them extremely light to wear, and of course they have short sleeves and short legs which undo at the crutch so you can babies nappy, but they get to keep cool whilst looking good.
Summer Dungarees and T. Shirts and Shorts are great, but are a few more layers and a bit more fiddly when it comes to changing your baby.
Rompers are ideal – especially for making light work for either mum or dad with changing baby and washing the clothing.
No -one wants a lot of work in the hot weather and all you want is for your little one to be cool and comfortable.

Babygowns
These are an extremely popular line item. We have been selling them now for nearly 6 years. Apparantly they are quite hard to find. This is quite a puzzle to us as we think they are indespensible.
Once your precious little one has arrived – nightime feeding and nappy changing is one of the many new things mum and dad are going to have to get used to doing. Putting your baby into a sleepsuit is fine – but as midwives up and down the country testify to a babygown is much much better.
Firstly it is better for baby. Made from the softest, lightest pure cotton it will help to regulate your babies body temperature which is extremely important for the first few weeks of their lives, as cotton is a breathable material.
Secondly it is far easier for you to change your little one’s nappy in the middle of the night by just pulling up the bottom and putting on a clean nappy.
Granted the chances are you will probably need to change the babygown as well, but that is why we recommend purchasing a few of these to help you cope with the washing.
If you find them too expensive to buy more than one – then ask a family member to buy some for you like mum and dad or maybe your sister or another family member because we cannot stress enough how useful you will find these compared to the regular sleepsuit, which will be fine when they get a few weeks older.
You are probably thinking we have an axe to grind in that we sell them and this true, but truely and honestly we have never had a customer in all our years of trading that does not agree with us completely and very often sends us an e-mail to express their sheer delight with them.
