Summer Dungarees

Our thoughts are now completely into high summertime, and we are all looking forward to our holidays. Most parents trying to juggle jobs and children welcome a break and can’t wait for their hols. Unfortunately you will probably need to top up your little one’s wardrobe for this event. As you will be away you will not be washing as much and will need to accomodate for this.

Summer Dungarees are a very popular category for us. They make a pleasant change from T. Shirts and Shorts, although especially for the beach these always go down well.

Dungarees are very practical, you can ring the changes with a different tee shirt or if the clouds roll on in then you can always put a long sleeved tee or even a jumper underneath. These are very versatile, that is probably in our estimation why they are so popular.

We have ours made from a lovely peach like soft microfibre material and of course pure cotton so you can even get little marks off of them with ease.

Sand will just brush off of this material, it is very light and cool and has no tendancy to crease at all.

Perfect for packing for your hols.

Most of our sets come complete with a matching sunhat as well, so you are completely good to go, and he will look smart to boot.

Scratch Mittens

These are essential for your precious little bundle. Once you have had your baby – on the average most babies are born with long finger nails and nearly always very sharp and uneven. Being so young you had hardly do a manicure on them. So for the first 3 months of their lives we strongly recommend scratch mittens for them.

New born babies have a tendany to rub their little faces and will generally tend to be a bit fussy, irratable it is just their way of adapting to being here.

Unfortunately without some form of protection they will scratch themselves particuarly on their faces and mark themselves, although these are not permanent just little scratches no-one wants to see that. They will be like this for a few weeks so we suggest scratch mittens.

They are like little cotton gloves, and our manufacturer came up with the clever but simple idea of making the wrist elasticated so they can’t come off – babies love to pull everything off, and yet at the same time they are not restricting at all.

Being made of pure cotton is essential. They are lovely and soft, and are basically a necessity.

They are very reasonably priced, and you get 2 pairs in a packet. Good value for money as well. We would advise you purchase a few packets though – as you will need these for the first 3 months.

Baby Sleepsuits

We have received lots of praise both within our own industry and by you the public for the variety, selection, quality and value we offer in this category. These are essential items for your little one. You will need to purchase between 10 – 12 of these to get you started when you are expecting..

A lot of our clients like to have 100% cotton. It is cooler on babies skin and is a breathable material. The down side is it is prone to shrinkage in the wash. The only way to help keep the size is a low cool wash, then stretch to re-shape and let the garments dry naturally and then when they are completely dry give them a gentle iron.

The most popular type that we sell is our velour ones. These are soft to the touch, made of poly/cotton so they do not shrink in the wash and dry quickly and generally do not need an iron.

Very mummy friendly. No fuss, no hassle.
