When you have finished bathing/washing baby just lay them down on the spread out hooded towel, making sure that you put their little head gently into the hooded part then wrap them all up into bundle and gently start to use the terry towelling material to dry them, just like a regular towel does, including any hair they may have.

Some babies love this – others don’t. The basic concept of these are that you can keep baby all warm and wrapped up safely from draughty windows or doorways when they are wet!

Very good in the colder months in the U.K. especially aas not every home has central heating in.

They are made mostly of towelling as it makes perfect sense – although ocassionally you can find these made in other fabrics.

They are pretty basic, but necessary and you will get tons of wear out of them over the first year or two, and if you planning on expanding your brood then they certainly won’t go to waste.

Anything to do with Pirates is huge this summer – and we have a lovely pirate Hooded Bath Towel in stock, or maybe you prefer a cute little ducky, or an Octopus – as stated before in this article we really do have a wide and varied selection for you.

The quality of these is second to none as well, they soak up water like a sponge, and they will wash up a treat! Plus the added bonus is they won’t cost you a forturne.

We try to cater to all tastes, white, cream, pink, blue, lemon and occasionally a little bit more unusual colours.

We call our hooded towels hooded robes as well, they mean exactly the same thing, but different manufacturers call them by different names.

Make sure baby is laying on a secure flat surface, and put their delicate little head into the hooded area, then swaddle the rest of the towel around their little bodies and gently dry them off. Don’t forget any talcum powder or creams next then dress baby again preferably on a flat surface.

Plenty of bubbles, laughter and fun toys are the key. Here we highly recommend washing babies hair every day with Johnsons shampoo which is the best and is so mild and gentle for baby.

Then soap baby all over and have lots of fun and laughter.

We prefer to keep our style and colour choices on the subtle and baby baby side. We are not really keen on bright and loud colours and styles.

Being hooded when you get your baby out of the bath tub, you can lay them gently on the hooded towel and dry their hair. This is a very practical idea and also helps to keep babies body temperature up.

You can swaddle them up in the hooded towel and even keep them in that to feed them.

We have also found a very good english company that produces hooded towels for your little one but they are made of poly/cotton. They look more like a blanket but act and are a hooded towel.

They are for babies with a more sensitive skin.
