Winter Baby Clothes – Trends and Ideas

As we are now in the depths of Winter this seems like an appropriate time to talk to you lovely people out there about the sort of trends and ideas for baby clothes. The trend this year for baby clothes seems to be Dungarees. These are popular all year really. As you don’t have to fiddle with pulling up trousers and frustratingly watch them slide down again, they are a very practical item. You also have the advantage of putting a jumper underneath or a long sleeved top or a t. shirt, or a blouse, virtually anything, the choice is yours depending on the weather. Cordurouy is the flavour of the month at the moment for Dungarees. Quite a fine light weight one.

Many of our customers still prefer to put baby in tops and bottoms. These are usually made of a fleecy fabric. We have noticed that hooded items are very popular, they were last Winter as well. Things like a little hood all help to keep baby snuggly. (Which is what all mums and dads want).

Baby Clothes have changed a lot over the last year. Just like adults they go in trends. Some baby clothes are not very practical for a small little one – but the young mum in the street likes the design, so it sells. We have been told that you can even purchase shoes with high heels on for babies! What will they think of next…
