We have found that rarely do you go from thick winter clothes yourself to sleeveless high cotton, we all need layers and items that go inbetween, so we hope that you enjoy this new category.

All the items in this section are still heavy enough to keep you comfortable, but light enough so if the sun comes out your not going to get too hot!

Layering is also the other way around these difficult seasons, it can be wet and windy or bright but cold so as is typical in Britain it can be a tricky one.

Due to the very bad economy over the last 2 years the cost of everything has risen – including how much it costs to clothe your little one. We have lost several of our suppliers too due to the harsh economic times but we have managed to find some new continental suppliers. On the continent they tend to like to put their babies in brightly coloured clothing – personal prefence we suppose. We have decided to give this theme a go and see what you make of it. Hopefully you will love it, we will have to wait and see…….

We have been determined in our quest to help keep the cost down for you the consumer with this seasons baby clothes. You may see  a slight rise in prices but we can assure you we are doing absolutely everything we can not to hike everything through the roof.

The cost of the materials and manufacturing larger sizes above 1 year old has really gone sky high, but it has cost us more to purchase the items so we have had to pass a small cost on to you but we want to make sure you understand we really give our buyers a very large headache – not allowing them to purchase items how ever good they are at the normal sort of prices most companies would pay.

This seasons trends are on the very dark side. Typically Autumn/Winter clothing seems to be very drab in Britain – which is one reason we thought we might try and brighten things up a bit.

This year has been the gloomiest yet – for so many of us and for so many reasons, so why not try and cheer ourselves up a bit and your precious little bundle in some bright clothes. You never know, both you and baby might feel a little chirpier if you see them wearing something more colourful than usual.

We like to think we are a little bit unique. All our items are not found in the average high street. Nor are they sold in the large outlets like Mothercare etc.

We try to source different and unique items for your little one. We try to make it personal – go that extra mile so to speak. We always pull everything, test all the fabrics etc. make sure you are getting a really quality item every time you make a purchase with us.

We normally keep ringing the changes with our stock. We do not want the same things to be bought in again and again we like to freshen things up a bit.

We also go in for sets a lot. We think that a baby looks so cute in a matching top and bottom outfit. Even if you and baby are not doing anything special that day, they look so much nicer in matching sets that just to put on any old top and brightly coloured bottoms. That only makes baby look scruffy in our opinion.

They are only little for a short time – so you want them to look nice all of the time. That is why we are so fussy here on your behalf.

It is a brand new year now and we have major plans for the company. We are thinking of having a complete major overhaul with regards to our baby clothes. We are taking our time and having a huge re-think on which way to go as a growing company. We want to give you the customer the best service, price and goods available on the market today. We all have our own ideas on which way to go and to be honest we are in the middle of a big debate.

We want to expand our range, but in this economic climate as a company it is hard to know exactly what is the right thing to do or the right way to go, as you can probably appreciate.

Our sale is coming to an end now for the Winter, so now is the time to grab yourselfs a real bargain. Unlike other companies we do not have a sale every five minutes, and when we are sold out of something we will not be bringing it back in.

We have been toying with the idea of going older and perhaps into premature as well. Expanding both ends so to speak, but as we have been going into it we are learning that is going to be very costly, both for us which will then have to be passed on to you.

Our Baby Clothes are not the most expensive or fussy, – we do not go in for Baby Dior or anything like that, our aim to provide the average family in the high street with good service, top quality products and information on the products that we sell or items we could bring in for you, not just a flunky on the other end of the line who hasn’t got a clue what they sell but just wants to take your order.

We go back to the rather old fashioned days, where the customer comes first.

Many of our customers still prefer to put baby in tops and bottoms. These are usually made of a fleecy fabric. We have noticed that hooded items are very popular, they were last Winter as well. Things like a little hood all help to keep baby snuggly. (Which is what all mums and dads want).

Baby Clothes have changed a lot over the last year. Just like adults they go in trends. Some baby clothes are not very practical for a small little one – but the young mum in the street likes the design, so it sells. We have been told that you can even purchase shoes with high heels on for babies! What will they think of next…

We search the globe for baby clothes, so we get our designs from all over the world. Some of our styles are trendy, but we like to keep a baby a baby for that bit longer. They have a lifetime to grow up and wear the latest most fashionable styles.

A gift of a selection of  Baby Clothes perhaps in a size up ready for the future would be very well received at this time. We have noticed a large surge in relatives purchasing for loved ones at this time of year.

A small cuddly toy for baby is lovely – but mum and dad could probably do with a bit of help as well…

You can always mix and match your Baby Clothes. A little hat here, bootees there, and may a little 2 pce outfit – practically anything would not go a miss.

Baby bedding is another important area where you are spoilt for choice.

Baby gowns however are very limited. Besides ourselves and one other company they are an extremely hard thing to find.

We are going to turn the corner soon into the New Year and it is then that we have a massive sale. January is a very good time to purchase clothing and bits and pieces that you may have got low on by now – since the beginning of the season, but at a really discounted price.

Baby sleepsuits are such a popular item and tend to go all through the year. We are one of the few companies that actually sell them up to 2 years old though – as far as we know of…

Baby Gift Sets are our speciality. This is where we tend to excel. We start at such a low price but never go up to the silly prices that many of our competitors do. Having said that several of our gift sets have 11 pieces in them making them extremely good value.

Most of our categories baby bedding, babies hats, babies mittens, and babies snowsuits plus tons more are so reasonable at the moment, we are in the middle of pondering just what sort of mark down we can possibly do in our Winter Sale that we have every New Year.

It is going to be a very difficult decision this year – how to lower our prices even more for you folks and yet make even a bean profit. We have been warned that in the New Year a whole ton of our suppliers are planning to put up their prices… just the sort of news everyone wants to hear isn’t it!.

Our recommendation to you lot is to purchase now – before the price hike which will have to happen eventually.

Our baby bedding on the other hand is much more on the staid and practical side. We start from the bottom up – literally – with waterproof sheets for prams and cots and then we work our way up the ladder so to speak until you get to the duvet or top blanket, whichever be your choice. We do not buy in every colour under the sun, we have had so much feedback from past customers that we have found out that most people prefer to go with the normal, which is basically white. Perhaps cream.

In Europe our counterparts could not be more different in their taste in baby and childrens clothing. In baby clothes they tend to go for really bright colours like orange and yellow and the same with babies bedding, they definitely are not like us over here. We tend to keep to pink, blue and white in the u.k. Over in europe we go for very bright and vibrant colours in nearly every aspect of baby clothes and baby bedding.
