Shawls for babies can be hard to find. Most places will be able to offer you perhaps one, whereas we like to offer you a wide selection.

Colours and styles abound. Almost all of our shawls are made of 100% acrylic. We have found that these are the most popular with you as they are so easy to keep clean.

No shrinkage, or fancy messing about washing and drying, and they are back in a jiffy.

Occasionally we like to give you the choice of pure cotton or wool and these go down well to, but of course they do need more care looking after them.

We have fancy shawls for the special occasions, we have ordinary shawls for everyday, and we have what we like to call our inbetweeners, which are suitable for almost every event….

Looking for a Shawl for your baby or maybe a family members can be tedious. Not every shop or website sell them. These are something that we like to offer all year round.

We keep quite a varied selection of them fro you ranging from a simple classic white one through to something far more suitable for a Wedding or a Christening.

We always keep these in stock for you in White, Ivory, Pink and Blue all year.

Ours are made from 100% acrylic mostly. The main reason for this is because it makes them so easy to wash and get back on baby.

Secondly – the cost. If you purchase wool or cashmere or other similar materials then you will find the price goes sky high. Purchasing in Acylic means that we can keep the cost right down for you, which is essential in this day and age.

Shawls are a wonderful alternative to blankets or wraps for your baby. Drape them across the pram or buggy and you will see what we mean.

Now that we are truely in Summertime a shawl is the perfect idea for your little one. Wrapping them up in a heavy blanket is fine for the Winter months but at this tie of the year, when our weather is so difficult to predict then a light but warm shawl is the perfect answer. Plus if you have any special events coming up this Summer like a Wedding then wrapping your little one in a shawl would be the perfect idea.

We have been told by our customers on many ocassions that shawls can be a tricky thing to find in the shops. Especially if you live out of the big cities away from all the major shopping centres etc. Baby items can be hard to find at the best of times, but certain products become quite simply impossible.

Now that we are heading into the Springtime, although there is still quite a nip in the air…. lots of babies Christenings happen around this time of year – usually Eastertime. You will need a shawl for your little one’s christening, and some parents like to go for an all out fancy one that they will probably never use again, but due to the harshness of our economy not all parents can have the luxury to afford to do this.
