Baby Shawls

Now that we are truely in Summertime a shawl is the perfect idea for your little one. Wrapping them up in a heavy blanket is fine for the Winter months but at this tie of the year, when our weather is so difficult to predict then a light but warm shawl is the perfect answer. Plus if you have any special events coming up this Summer like a Wedding then wrapping your little one in a shawl would be the perfect idea.

We have been told by our customers on many ocassions that shawls can be a tricky thing to find in the shops. Especially if you live out of the big cities away from all the major shopping centres etc. Baby items can be hard to find at the best of times, but certain products become quite simply impossible.

That is where the beauty of the internet comes in. Day or night you can make a purchase and a few days later it will be with you.

All our shawls are made from 100% acrylic although they come from all over the world and are all of different weights.

This means they are really easy to wash and look after, baby gets that extra layer of warmth and looks great for this time of the year, and you get an item that you can use time and again, and maybe even pass on to the next generation if you wanted to.

Our shawls come in white, cream, pink and blue plain or heavily patterned so you have plenty of choice once again.

Babies Shawls

Now that we are heading into the Springtime, although there is still quite a nip in the air…. lots of babies Christenings happen around this time of year – usually Eastertime. You will need a shawl for your little one’s christening, and some parents like to go for an all out fancy one that they will probably never use again, but due to the harshness of our economy not all parents can have the luxury to afford to do this.

Therefore is is worthwhile stepping back and giving it a little thought. How about the best of both worlds. A unique and beautiful shawl that you can use for the foreseeable months after the happy day has passed.

Shawls are an indispensible product. They are so useful as most mums already know. Blankets are fine in the depth of the winter but as we go through the rest of the year babies shawls are wonderful.

They are light in weight but not in warmth. Great to swaddle baby up in and carry them around in. Easy to wash and keep clean and reasonably priced.

What more can you possibly ask for!

Babies Shawls

Babies shawls can be found in our basic collection. We like to cater mostly with the fabric of 100% Acrylic. These type of shawls look great, wash up a treat and last for simply ages, plus if you needed any other reason to like this sort of fabric they are light in weight yet warm as well and so reasonably priced.

We have lots of babies shawls – we always keep a good selection for you, we have them in cream, white, pink and blue quite often we have other colours as well, but these are kept on a regular basis.

Shawls are so useful most people don’t realise this. They are probably more practical than babies blankets.

We have a beautiful shawl in white in a box with a large satin teddy design on. This shawl just has to be seen to be believed. This would make a perfect present for to give to anyone, family or friend.

Cable designs are very popular when you are talking about knitted items, and although our shawls are not hand knitted they look hand knitted when you purchase the cable styles. You could even cheat, not that we recommend that, but it would be so easy to do…

Babies Shawls

We woudl like to talk about babies Shawls. We are expecting more snow, in fact it is doing just that as we add this new post to our shop. However you would be surprised the value and useful practical ways that a shawl can be used for.

Many years ago – a babies shawl was used just for babies Christenings but over the years this has all changed. Nowadays mums and dads have found these are so useful. They are light in weight, but not in warmth, quite often a babies shawl is warmer than a blanket. You can carry your newborn baby around to friends or familys houses, or to the shopping centre and keep them all wrapped up toasty and warm without having to fight with a big thick heavy blanket. Drape it over baby in their buggy and that will keep the draughts at baby.

They wash up a treat, and dry so quickly you can pop them back on within 1 day.

We highly recommend these items as being so very useful and practical.

Most of our shawls are made from the softest 100% acrylic, so they wash and wear a treat!
