Many high street shops and department stores don’t bother to sell them – simply because they are such a cheap little item we think.

They are so useful though for baby – we like to offer one’s with an elasticated wrist because we think these ate marvellous.

They stay on easily as baby will be constantly trying to pull them off they always do.

They are made of soft pure cotton in white usually although we do have cream, pink and blue one’s as well and you get 2 pairs in a pack for really good value.

They wash up a treat and are so very easycare and cheap to purchase in the first place.

We highly recommend these as they will stop baby from scratching themselves all the time and hurting their poor little faces.

They are so useful an item to have for your little one, and quite a lot of babies sections don’t bother to keep these in stock. Probably due to the fact that they are so sheap, they cannot make hardly any profit off of them.

This seems to be nowadays what it is all about, making the biggest buck so to speak.

They are only available in white and in pure cotton, although the style does vary slighty from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Some like to do elasticated wrists, which we just happen to think is an excellent idea, as babies tend not to like these and try to get them off all the time. This version helps them to stay on better. 

Babies tend to scratch their little faces all the time and their little nails are all sharp and jagged – so this is where they are so handy.

We always keep tons in stock, we have a mixture at the moment, elasticated wrists or just plain pull on style. The price is the same so it all depends on you really.

We also have some cream pull on ones with a cute little motif on, these have proved to be very popular.

Most babies when they are first born arrive into the world with uneven nails. When they rub or touch their delicate little faces they can easily scratch themselves.

You can hardly go giving them a manicure !

So the next best thing for the first 3 months minimum is scratch mittens.

They are cheap, practical, and stop baby from hurting themselves.

We sell them ivory with a motif on, pink, blue and white. Now in all honesty white is absolutely the most popular with you folks, but  we get an awful lot of call for the colours as well, you would be surprised.

You don’t have to purchase these it’s entirely upto you – but we do high recommend them so you don’t have any worries for the first 3 months of their little lives minimum!

They are made from soft pure cotton and wash up a treat, they are so easy to carefore and look after that you shloud have no problms with these items at all .

With us we consider them an absolute must!

Most babies when they are born have some hair and of course fingernails and toenails. You can hardly start cutting their little nails now can you. The problem arises as they usually have sharp jagged nails that at this early stage you cannot do anything about.

This is where scratch mittens come in so handy. We like the style that has an elasticated wrist, with this in mind it works in two ways.

1.  Baby won’t be happy with them on and will be trying to get them off all the time – but because they are elasticated they will not move ( clever or what ).

2. The normal style of scratch mitts just slip on babies fingers, with these little suckers they are not coming off.

Baby now can rub their little faces or do what they want and you don’t have to worry about it.

There is no way they can possible hurt themselves.

Made in soft pure cotton usually white, they will last for 3 months roughly. Depending on the amount of washing etc that they are given. Unfortunately cotton does shrink in the wash but even so they should have a good life span for the money.

You get two pairs in every packet so that helps as well.

Every high street and shopping centre usually has a Mothercare or Marks and Spencers in it – so with a bit of luck you may be able to pick up some – but the trouble is that the big boys as we like to call them don’t seem to think it worthwhile carrying stock on such small cheap items, goodness knows why not – we sell them hand over fist.

We have been going for nearly seven years now and we must have sold literally thousands of them.

They are an absolute must for most newborn babies. A tremendous amount of babies are born these days with long fingernails, but of course they are all jagged and uneven, and you can hardly give them a manicure can you?

So the answer is simple – scratch mitts for the first few months and then you can gently file their  nails and the problem is finished with.

During the first few months of babies life they have a tendancy to fidget with everything and get quite fussy. When they start to cry they rub their faces and this can lead to little tiny scratches all over the place. That is why these are a simple, cheap idea that solves the problem.
