Babies Immunisation
This is a very important subject for everyone both you and your little one. Unfortunately childhood illnesses are a part of life, but now with help from the GP’s we can eradicate some of the worst ones and lessen the damage of the rest by immunisation.
Obviously you will have been given all the necessary literature and information as you have been going along with your pregnancy etc. but you would be surprised at how many people choose to ignore these sort of things as not important and do nothing when the time comes to have their little one vaccinated.
We know baby will cry and probably not feel their best a few days afterwards – but it really cannot be stressed enough how very important these really are.
In some countries ( the poorer ones ) they are crying out for this sort of help.
Don’t be lazy. Make sure that you pop down to the local surgery at the correct intervals and get your little one immunised at proper times. This helps to limit the damage as they go through school times etc.
Hopefully they will not catch most of the childhood illness this way, and then year by year slowly we will work together to eradicate these diseases.

Babies Immunisation
Looking after baby means that you will have lots of different sorts of tasks to do – and one of these which is extremely important by the way is to make sure they have all their jabs at the right time.
Although most babies and toddlers absolutely hate this part – it is essential we are afraid.
They usually don’t co-operate as well and then a few days later get the sniffles and feel grumpy and lousy while the vaccine takes effect.
No-one likes this horrible business, but it just has to be done!
Make sure you don’t leave these – that they are done at the correct times. Some mums and dads have a tendancy to put off these sort of things and think it is o.k. to do it later. WRONG……….. they should be done when your GP says they should.

Babies Immunisation
We would like to take this opportunity to talk to you a little about your babies jabs. Looking after baby is a time consuming job, although it is the most rewarding one for a women according to most mothers. However, when it comes time to taking baby to the Doctors for their general health assesment checks, quite a few mothers put these visits off and believe it or not some do not even bother to go. Now here with us we completely discourage such behaviour and are strong advocates that you should take your little one to the clinic, or nurse or midwife depending on the area you live in and how things are set up in your part of the world for their regular visits.
We totally understand that they hate seeing the nurse or doctor and usually cry their eyes out if a needle comes anywhere near them ( and quite frankly we don’t blame them one bit!) but.. these visists are essential and both you and your little one will have to get used to them as they are so vital.
Over the years in Britain we have managed to get on top of so many of the nasty childhood illness etc. by doing Immunisation that it seems to be silly to stop now and put everything backwards.
So we urge new mums and dads to go on a regular basis to your local surgery and make sure everything is just dandy with your little one, never tak health for granted, that’s our motto.
