When you first meet your newborn it is basically a diet of milk – so you will find that you will need bibs on nearly all day. In fact a lot of mothers do prefer to do that, keep a bib popped on all day between one thing and another  it will hardly seem like taking it off.

The one thing you are going to need a truck load of is bibs. You will find with time and experience that you just cannot have too many of them. When you first have baby you will still need a lot but they will be a bit smaller, as your little one grows and develops they will gradually needa bigger bib and you will have to keep on going until you are using virtually a cover all.

We have so many styles and colours for you – you will be spoilt for choice.

We have plastic backed ones. Just plain pop over the head unlined cotton ones, terry towelling velcro ones, large and small, in a huge array of colours and styles.

You will learn from experience that you just cannot have to many of them. You will be using them all day and all night for the first few months so therefore between washing them, drying them and getting them back to baby you just cannot go wrong if you stock up on lots of these.

Our only word of advice for you would be buy them all from one place to save you time and money, plus make sure that for a newborn you get a smaller bib, then buy some bigger ones as baby grows. Don’t keep them all the same size, as that just won’t work!

Designs, colours, materials and price these are all your decision and only you two can make up your mind. A lot of people go for the days of the week on them, but you often find you end up with the wrong day of the week on as you are going through them so often.

Some of  our customers like to have plain bibs, they are nice and cheap and cheerful, but keeping them clean can prove to be troublesome.

Other people like to put babies name on them, but if you are going to take our advice and buy a lot then that idea isn’t very practical – maybe on only one or two as the cost to have this work done just doesn’t make the bib worth it. It will not last any longer, or do a better job than any other.

Our suggestion is to buy them in bulk, that way you will take awhile until you need the next lot. You will have that many in the washing machine, probably find piles of them everywhere that baby goes you will be taking one with you.

Gradually as time goes by you can slowly de-crease them until hey presto you don’t need them anymore.

We do not think that you can really have to many bibs. You can buy these practically anywhere (hopefully with us) but they are easy enough to find and the more the merrier we say.

We have a lovely selection for you to choose from starting with our budget range which is fantastic value for money and then growing upto the larger bibs with plastic backing on as baby grows and grows they will need bigger bibs obviously, these are a little bit more pricey but you are getting a much larger item.

Our slogan bibs have proved very popular with our customers and indeed we have run out of some of the styles unfortunately.

We have some really cute styles for your baby and all the colours of the rainbow to match including the neutrals, so you should be able to find something to suit both your pocket and your taste.

On the subject of bibs you are going to need quite a few for the foreseeable future with a newborn baby in the house, as they will have one practically glued to them for the first few months.

Buying cheap and cheerful bibs is fine – but they will not stand the rigours of the constant washing machine and drying and ironing they are under – so it is really more economical to make your purchase say mid-price so that at least they last for a few weeks/months  instead of days.

If they fall to pieces after the first wash then that is not much use to anyone.

We highly recommend that you purchase some small bibs to start with and then get them bigger as baby grows and the velcro ones are the easiest ones to work with especially with a wriggly little thing to have to fight to put them on.

We sell ours singly or in value packs so you have plenty of choices – and we can say with a guarantee that although ours are reasonably priced they will not fall apart in the first wash, that would be useless to man nor beast!
