Baby Bedding

We would like to take the time to talk to you about Baby Bedding. In this section we will try to give you all the advice you need to get started. When you planning the nursery and have chosen the cot and decorated the room it is time to go to the linens in the cot. You will need 4 cot bottom fitted sheets and 4 cot top sheets to lay over baby. You will need a quilt and bumper set. After 1 year onwards you should remove the bumper set as baby will be very active by now.

You will need 2 Baby Sleeping Bags. 2 for the Summer and 2 for the Winter with the correct tog ratings. These are a fairly new idea, but are a wonderful invention to stop baby from wriggling around. They also help to keep babies body at the correct temperature all year round.

A lot of new mums and dads like to put their new little bundle into a Moses Basket for the first 6 – 8 weeks. This is a very good idea as it help to keep you little one warm – a big open cot will be far too much to start with…

You will need  4 bottom sheets for the Moses Basket and 4 for the top. Also a Quilt and Bumper Set for the Moses Basket just like the cot. As you have no doubt found out by now – having a baby is not a cheap hobby, but so worth it!

You will find an enourmous amount of choice in Baby Bedding in the shops or on the web – so much so you will be spoilt for choice. This is where the new mum to be will have so much fun. Don’t you find ladies that this is just an excuse to go shopping and indulge the habit that we all have, a little bit of retail therapy never did anyone any harm – only the mens wallet!
