Babies Socks

Now footwear is hardly the most interesting of subjects no matter how you try to spice it up. However, on the other hand your little one will be wearing socks for the foreseeable next few years – right through their school times anyway. So you might as well get used to the fact that you and they will be struggling to put these on their little toes for quite awhile.

At this tender young age you can at least have some fun with them!

Why not choose animals and funny ones, brightly coloured or dainty flowers for the girly girls. This is the time when you have no school bossing you about with plain boring dull white or dark colours – you can go mad at this stage of their lives.

Plus it gives baby something to look at as we all know that they love nothing better than trying to pull of anything that you put on their feet and if you have one of those babies try to suck their toes.

At least they will have bright and colourful items to play with – and you can explain about the animals on their socks and even take them for an outing perhaps to a zoo and show them the big giraffes and things that are on their feet. They can then add two and two together and it all suddenly makes perfect sense.

One thing leads into another – and when you start reading books to them especially if their are any animals in there they can identify with them more.

There are so many way to help gently guide your little one into showing them the world about them – and it all stems from simple things like a pattern on a sock!
