Babies Scratch Mittens

Scratch Mittens are an essential basic for your newborn baby. For anyone that has never had a baby before you will not be aware of this. When your baby is born, with a bit of luck they will have some hair but they are bound to have toenails and fingernails.

Now that’s great! However their little fingernails are likely to be jagged and rough and you can hardly go giving a new born baby a manicure. Some babies are born with very long fingernails – it all depends on the baby, but  this is why you need to use scratch mittens. They will stop baby from being able to scratch their faces when they rub their little hands on their face or body. Without them they can scratch themselves to pieces.

They are reasonably priced as you get 2 pairs in every packet, and of course they are made from soft white pure cotton with an elasticated wrist so that they stay on better and give a better fit.

Baby is likely to try and get them off, so that is why we try to get the elasticated wrist style, it is much more effective!
