Advice for New Mums
We would like to talk to you today on Nutrition. For the first few months you will obviously be giving your new baby milk. However around the 4 – 5 months area ( every baby is slightly different ) you will need to start introducing solids. Your baby will begin teething around now, so you can give them Farley Biscuits or something equivalent for them to suck and chew on to help get those first toothy pegs through… and give you a bit of peace from the crying and sleepless nights.
Now is also the time to try solids. Start slowly at first. Most of the major brands have a fantastic selection try Cow and Gate or Heinz they are the best ones out there. A lot of new mothers like to make their own. Fine, cook whatever takes your fancy, blend it down to a fine pasty liquid ( strain out any bits to start with – then leave them in as baby adapts ) and they will be getting nothing but the purest and finest of healthy foods.
Most of the major brands pack all kinds of vitamins in them so you don’t have to worry on that score.
Make sure you include fruit in their diet. Either tiny pieces of actual fruit or fruit juices to drink.
Our next topic will be Baby Clothes, Baby Bedding, Baby Gowns and Baby Gift Sets.
