Advice for New Dads
We talk a lot about the baby and the new mum but what about the new dad he seems to get forgotton about, well not with us he doesn’t. The man in your life has just been through the same nine months that you have – we know ladies that it was you suffering ( we don’t want to get you all angry or upset! ) but your other half had to adjust to a totally new women in his life and now a baby – this is a huge adjustment for anyone to take in.
The hormones all over the place with you and then afterwards maybe the baby blues as they call them – life is wonderful and yet complicated at the same time at the moment.
So remember to spare a thought for your other half – he has just become a dad for the first time or maybe a second if he is really lucky.
It is always a good idea to share the duties of parenting if you can – you don’t have to do everything you know. He can change a nappy or feed baby or cradle them off to sleep if he is this way enclined.
Some men will have nothing to do with changing a nappy it all depends on what sort of partner you have.
